Black Cab Challenge

AIM: To work in small teams navigating around the busy London streets with the aim of completing the circuit and solving clues in the shortest time possible.  Encourages planning, time-keeping, problem solving and observation skills.

FORMAT: Teams are assigned to a black taxi with driver.  Each time is issued with a set of instructions and a series of cryptic clues to solve.  As the teams depart they are informed of the time by which they have to return, if this time is exceeded penalty points will be deducted!

THEMES: The routes can be themed to include historic sites, places on a Monopoly board, Sherlock Holmes or theatres.

ACTIVITIES: Activities include navigating around the route, collecting bonus items, solving cryptic clues along the way, photographic challenges, purchasing specific souvenirs.

TIMINGS: Afternoon, December will be dark so recommended to start at lunch time.

LOCATION: EC4 Collection and Finish Point.

DRESS: Appropriate for the season.
