Celtic Manor

Keith Prowse can organise a conference with a difference for you at the Celtic Manor resort, home of The Celtic Manor Wales Open and the next European venue for the Ryder Cup in 2010. 

Celtic Manor is set in a 1400 acre estate in the Usk Valley bordering 23,000 acres of unspoiled woodland.  Located just over the Severn Bridge and only 90 minutes from London, there is excellent access to the M4, M50 and M5 motorways.

The resort offers a 330 room, 32 suite luxury Resort Hotel, historic 70 room Manor house, 1500 delegate convention centre, 31 function rooms, 2 outstanding health clubs and spas and 4 restaurants.

Organisation is the key to a successful conference but everything including catering, event management, technical and presentation requirements can all be left up to us so all you have to do on the day is the talking! 

After the conference, we can organise a Gala dinner and luxury accomodation at the Resort.  The following day we will organise activities for you and your guests to enjoy; whether you want play golf or just relax in the spa, there is something to please everyone.

Golf

The Resort has three championship golf courses – The classic Roman Road host to previous Wales Opens, the new par 69 Montgomerie Course and the Twenty Ten, the new host for The Celtic Manor Wales Open and the 2010 Ryder Cup. 

Our golf day includes a welcome on arrival, registration, score management and a golf coordinator.  It can also include Longest drive competition and Nearest to the pin competition.

Spa

The award-winning Forum Health Club and Spa boasts Europe’s largest free form spa, 16 treatment rooms, gym, sauna, steam room, plunge pools, children’s entertainment and leisure café.  All Resort Hotel residents have complimentary use of the Forum.  Beauty treatments are chargeable.  We advise you to book as far in advance to your arrival as possible.

Outdoor Activities

Example outdoor activities that can be provided include:

• Archery
• Laser Clay pigeon shooting
• 4 x 4 off blindfold driving
• Honda pilots
• Quad safari
• 4 x 4 off road driving
• Air rifles and pistols 

The majority of these events would take place off site, about 5 minutes from the Resort.  All transport, land hire along with refreshments, medals and trophies are included.  Smaller scale activities like archery and air rifling can be done onsite, on the Manor lawn, using this area would not incur a land hire charge.
