Royal Ascot is the centrepiece of Ascot’s racing year. It is the world’s most famous race meeting, steeped in history dating back to 1711. The royal family attend the meeting, arriving each day in a horse-drawn carriage. It is a major event in the British social calendar; the press coverage of the attendees and what they are wearing often exceeds coverage of the actual racing!
Over 300,000 people will make the annual visit to Berkshire during Royal Ascot week, making this Europe’s most-attended race meeting. With some of the best horse racing action and hospitality packages to exceed expectation, Royal Ascot is the place to be and be seen!
