Facility Locations
Library Lawn
As the name suggests, a more secluded area where you will be looked after in a marquee on the private lawn of Goodwood House. Here you can enjoy some privacy away from the track itself. For those who cannot take their eyes off the cars, you will have reserved seats in the VIP grandstand at the Crossroads Corner. This
exclusive area is perfect for smaller groups to entertain in a less formal fashion.
Gurney Pavilion
This pavilion occupies what is arguably the best viewing location on the track. Here you are on the outside of the famous Crossroads Corner where the cars are building up speed for the blast past Goodwood House and where driver skill can make up a lot of time.
Hill Pavilion
This Pavilion is on the outside of the track at the first corner after the start line. Here the cars head towards you, flat out through the shadows of the Lime Avenue, before braking hard and turning into the corner right in front of your balcony. A great place to watch and just a short walk from the start line.
Entertaining Experiences
Library Lawn
Library Lawn is offered exclusively to our hospitality guests on Friday and Saturday. Library Lawn offers tables of 2 to 12 and is perfect for private or corporate entertaining. A short walk from here takes you to your private grandstand at the Crossroads Corner where you will have a great view of the cars and motorcycles on the track.
Hill and Gurney Pavilions
Hill and Gurney Pavilions offer a classic entertaining experience with any combination of a table of two in the restaurant, a table of ten in a shared pavilion to your own private pavilion for thirty guests and upwards. Whatever your choice, you will enjoy a delicious three-course lunch and have magnificent views right onto the track.
The Ultimate Experience
The Ultimate Experience is new for 2010 and is a bespoke experience created to ensure you get the very best out of your day. Based in the Gurney Pavilion, you will be able to entertain 30 people and enjoy all the privileges of being one of our VIP guests, including enhanced menus and wines, your own private viewing and chill out area, VIP shuttle service and wi-fi for your laptops. The Goodwood House Butler will ensure you have everything you need and a Goodwood Event Planner will co-ordinate your day including theming the pavilion and branding opportunities. You
will also enjoy free transfers to the Land Rover and Porsche action arenas, a guided tour of the paddock, advertising in the programme and visits from star drivers. It doesn’t get any better.

A Short History of the Festival of Speed
It was in 1934 that Freddie March first amused his friends with the challenge of driving up the Park road in front of Goodwood House at breakneck speed, thereby sowing the seed for what was to become the most successful event on the motor sport calendar and the greatest car culture event of its type in the world.
For three days a year Goodwood becomes home to the world’s greatest car collection. Cars and drivers are gathered from all over the globe to participate in this spectacular celebration of the internal combustion engine in all its forms – from F1 to rally, from Nascar to MotoGP, the festival has them all, not to mention a more complete collection of current Supercars than you will see at any motor show.
You could easily find yourself in the paddock rubbing shoulders and chatting with a world champion, or you could be sipping champagne in the Veuve Clicquot bar as the A380 Airbus makes a low pass right above your head. There is so much to excite and enthuse everyone that you’ll find entertaining guests of all ages easy and rewarding; they will be blown away by the scale and depth of the whole sensory experience. The noise of high revving engines, the smell of burning rubber, and the high octane atmosphere surrounding the theatre on the track are what compel people to come back time and time again to this, ‘the greatest show on earth’ (The Daily Telegraph).
