Keith Prowse Make a Splash at Henley-on-Thames!
Keith Prowse Press Release: Thursday 5 February 2009
The Henley Royal Regatta is a truly British tradition, which has brought a buzz to the town each summer since 1839, as hundreds of people descend upon the banks of the River Thames. This July, hospitality guests will be cheering on the dozens of oarsmen in style, thanks to the top-class service provided by Keith Prowse’s experienced staff. As the teams race down the Thames, spectators on the banks will be sipping champagne and relaxing in the British sunshine.

On Temple Island, patrons can once again expect to be treated, not only to Keith Prowse’s high standards of fine dining, but also to top chef, Albert Roux, who will be present at the lunchtime sitting to guide guests through his specially created Regatta menu.
Ted Walker, Marketing Manager, Keith Prowse said: “Henley has become a national institution, synonymous with relaxation and grandeur, and it is fitting that such an esteemed chef should provide our menu. Albert Roux is an internationally renowned chef and working with him is a real pleasure.”
Guests on Temple Island are just moments from the start line and have access to a private boat to transfer them to and from the Stewards’ Enclosure which is located next to the finish line.
For a more informal experience, guests can head to Fawley Meadows Restaurant and Private Suites, which have an ‘Alfresco Lounge’ – an area where guests can relax in comfort whilst listening to a live band. Fawley Meadows is a great place to enjoy the day’s rowing, set in the beautiful surroundings of Henley-on-Thames.
