Twickenham worries for injured Welsh pair

Those planning a corporate hospitality experience at Twickenham next year may be interested to learn that Welsh rugby stars James Hook and Alun Wyn Jones are injury doubts for their country's Six Nations opener against England in February.

The pair could miss out on the match at Twickenham after both suffered shoulder injuries while playing for the Ospreys at the weekend.

But the extent of the injuries is not yet clear, said Ospreys coach Sean Holley.

"We don't know how serious they are at the moment," he told Wales on Sunday.

"But more than anything you have to get them off the field if they feel they can't play on."

However, there is some good news for Welsh fans planning a corporate hospitality experience at Twickenham that weekend.

Wales hooker Matthew Rees, who suffered a groin injury against Australia last month, is on-track to return for the game.

Earlier this month, Welsh prop Adam Jones said that he was targeting the Twickenham game for his own return from injury.ADNFCR-2911-ID-19532638-ADNFCR
