Cheltenham Festival VIP corporate packages news: Court in Motion tipped for future Gold Cup glory

Horse racing fans with Cheltenham Festival VIP corporate packages may be interested to learn one trainer's tip for the future of the event.

Emma Lavelle revealed that Court in Motion, owned by Nick Mustoe, has the potential to go on and win the festival's headline race, the Gold Cup, over the coming years.

The five-year-old horse was close to opening his account with victory at Exeter last week, after cruising to the front in the race and comfortably clearing the final jump.

However, after standing on his shoe two strides after landing the jump, the horse's momentum got the better of him and he fell.

"Hopefully it will be a small blip on the way to an illustrious career," Ms Lavelle said on her official website. "I really do think that he could be a Gold Cup horse one day - the dream's still alive."

While the likes of Kauto Star and Denman are favourites for this year's Gold Cup, jockey Paddy Brennan told At The Races last week that Imperial Commander could upset the odds and claim victory.
