Twenty20 tickets news: Tremlett 'can restart Test career at Surrey'

Surrey Brown Caps fans with Twenty20 tickets for the side's Brit Oval campaign this season could be set to see some top-notch performances from Chris Tremlett.

The giant fast bowler has secured a move to Surrey from Hampshire, with his former club feeling his services would be surplus to requirements after they secured the signature of fellow paceman Kadir Ali from Worcestershire.

A series of injuries have seen Tremlett slide down the England pecking order in recent years, despite the fact that he is only 28 years old and has an impressive international record.

He has made the most of his three Test selections, taking 13 wickets at an average of less than 30.

And Chris Adams, professional cricket manager at Surrey, expressed confidence that the move to the Brit Oval could rejuvenate Tremlett's chances of gaining international recognition.

"In Chris Tremlett, we have signed a bowler of Test match ability," he said. "I feel we have got somebody that has the right attributes to continue his England career."
