Wimbledon VIP packages news: Andy Murray fired up for success in Miami

Andy Murray has expressed confidence in his chances of preparing for his appearance in front of fans with Wimbledon VIP packages with victory at the Sony Ericsson Open.

The world number three won the 2009 US event after beating Serbian star Novak Djokovic in the final and he is upbeat over his chances of repeating the feat this year.

Murray's defence of his title begins on either March 27th or 28th 2010 when he takes on American Mardy Fish, who battled through his first-round meeting with Leonardo Mayer 7-6, 6-4.

A strong showing at the Miami tournament could give Murray a confidence boost prior to appearing in front of fans with Wimbledon VIP packages this summer and the 22-year-old has said his familiarity with the event may help his quest for success.

"I've played a lot on the courts so it doesn't take me that long to get used to the conditions and stuff because I spend so much time here," he said.

Roger Federer will also get his Sony Ericsson Open campaign up and running this weekend with a match against Ecuadorian veteran Nicolas Lapentti.
