Andy Roddick and Rafael Nadal are set to meet in the semi-finals of the Sony Ericsson Open, in what could prove to be a handy form guide for fans with Wimbledon VIP packages.
Nadal has followed up his recent appearance in the final four at Indian Wells by reaching the same stage at the Miami event after overcoming Jo Wilfried-Tsonga 6-3, 6-2.
Despite the wide margin of victory, the Spaniard was given a stern challenge by the world number ten, saving eight break points on his way to the win.
It puts him one step closer to ending his 11-month stretch without a title, a run which he will hope to end before he appears in front of fans with Wimbledon VIP packages.
But Nadal faces stiff competition from Roddick, who reached the final of the SW19 event in 2009.
The big-serving American cruised through his quarter-final meeting with Nadal's fellow countryman Nicolas Almagro, eventually winning 6-3, 6-3.
