Chester Racecourse dates back to the 16th sixteenth century and according to official records is the oldest racecourse still in use in England. The racecourse’s position in the city makes meetings at Chester very popular as it is only a very short stroll to all the local amenities.
The 2009 flat racing season will kick off with the May Festival and continue with a total of 13 race days until September, also in May is the Coutts International Polo Weekend followed by the British Masters Show Jumping in July. There is no better way to enjoy a day at the races that from the comfort and luxury of one of the many private facilities. County and Leverhulme Stand Private Boxes
The view across the racecourse and the paddock from the private boxes
will take your breath away! Each box has an elegant décor and its own
private balcony. The smallest box is for 10 people and the largest is for
50 people so why not own a piece of this nationally renowned racecourse

Final Furlong
The Final Furlong restaurant is located in the tented village near the Festival Chalets. Patrons of the Final Furlong dine inside the restaurant, enjoying an all-inclusive bar, and then during racing are able to stroll to the rails of the race track to watch the thrilling action in the final minutes of the races. The Final Furlong restaurant offers you the opportunity of hiring a private table for the day accommodating up to 10 guests.
