Investec Challenge

Players Lounge hospitality packages will be avalible for the first time this autumn when England face Australia on 15th November in the second of the Investec Challenge matches. It will be the first time the old enemies have met since England’s surprise victory in the 2007 World Cup Quarter Final and the Australians will feel they have a point to prove. England on the other hand will want to show that their victory in Marseille was no fluke and with the home support behind them, they will be pumped up for this clash with the ever dangerous Wallabies.

England’s third Investec Challenge match of 2008 is a rematch of the 2007 World Cup Final as they take on South Africa at Twickenham Stadium. For England this is a chance to pit their skills against the World Champions and avenge their narrow defeat in Paris last year. The Springboks, under new management, will want to continue their winning run against England and prove they are worthy champions.

In their final Investec Challenge match, England take on New Zealand at Twickenham Stadium. Often the dominant force in world rugby, the All Blacks play the game with power, pace and precision and many were surprised to see them knocked out of the 2007 World Cup at the Quarter Final stages. They have a good record against England at Twickenham but Brian Ashton’s team will relish the challenge and will be looking for their first victory against New Zealand since 2003.

RBS 6 Nations

Players Lounge hospitality packages will be avalible for England’s second home fixture in the 2009 RBS 6 Nations Championship is against France. England have beaten France in their last two meetings – both on French soil; the 2007 World Cup Semi-Finals and last year’s RBS 6 Nations, but can England make it three-a-row in front of home fans in 2009? Whatever the outcome, it is bound to be an exhilarating game and it could well decide the 2009 Championship.

In their final home match of 2009 RBS 6 Nations Championship, England take on one of their oldest rivals, Scotland for the Calcutta Cup. Last year, the auld enemy dented England’s six Nations hopes by defeating them at Murrayfield in what turned out to be Scotland’s only victory in the 2008 Championship. England will hope to return to winning ways when they face the Scots at Twickenham on 21st March.
