Hairspray became a Broadway hit when it was premiered at the Neil Simon Theatre in the summer of 2002. This extraordinary show is back, so that you can let your hair down and dance the night away.

Hairspray is set in the 1962 where the 50’s are out and change is in the air. Baltimore’s Tracey Turnblad, a big girl, with big hair and one big dream to dance. The story follows the fortunes of the teenager who yearns to perform on the Corny Collins Dance Show. Overnight Tracey has the chance to fulfil her lifelong ambition and becomes a massive hit on the show and is transformed from a loner to teen sensation overnight.

This is wonderfully upbeat throughout the show and has a classic feel as it keeps in touch with the story’s setting in the early 1960’s. This is a must see for anyone who fancies a sensational night out on London’s West End.
