Compass dominates the podium at Meetings Industry Marketing Awards

Compass Group has scooped the Gold and Bronze awards for Best Website at the Meetings Industry Marketing Awards. Both Keith Prowse and Lime Venue Portfolio went home as winners from the ceremony at the Park Plaza Riverbank in London on Monday 18th October.
The highly coveted Gold award went to the UK’s leading hospitality provider Keith Prowse, who impressed judges with their clear demonstration of www.keithprowse.co.uk as a highly effective marketing tool.
Keith Prowse’s online home was praised for being a site which is clean, easy to use with good navigation, includes plenty of relevant information and provides video trailers and virtual tours to help make the products tangible. Evidence of over £2 million worth of revenue which was generated by the website was also a key factor, the judges said.
Lime Venue Portfolio, Compass Group’s collection of unique, sporting and cultural venues, won Bronze, demonstrating the company’s ongoing commitment to developing creative and effective channels of communication with its customers and clients.
The awards, organised by Meetings and Incentive Travel Magazine, were launched in 2002 to raise the standards of marketing in the meetings and events industry and to recognise the significant input of marketers in keeping the industry buoyant.
