Press information for release 22 February 2011
The international matches between England and Sri Lanka (npower Test match from Friday 3rd – 7th June, NatWest One Day International Sunday on 3rd July) are to be used by Keith Prowse to bring companies closer to their clients with the unique bond that grows from families socialising.
In order to facilitate a relaxed family atmosphere, children under the age of 14, accompanied by an adult, will enjoy a full hospitality programme free of charge on days 2 and 3 of the Test match, as well as the ODI.
Located opposite the Media Centre, the Nursery Pavilion will be the focus for experiential entertaining, designed to bring families closer to the action. Guests will start the day with a leisurely pre-match breakfast as they watch international batsmen and bowlers warm-up centimetres away in the nets on the Nursery Ground.
After enjoying the morning session from prime seats in the Mound Stand, guests will return to the Nursery Pavilion for a sumptuous seasonal buffet lunch. A cricket legend will invite families to ‘step into the media’s shoes’ during the interval, answering questions on the state of play, the players’ performances and other hot topics and offering an exclusive insight into the match.
Ted Walker, Keith Prowse’s Head of Marketing said: “The concept of family hospitality has been designed by us to create the most comfortable atmosphere for weekend entertaining for our clients. The excitement of top class international cricket, an exceptional dining experience and unrivalled behind-the-scenes access will build a bond that extends beyond the boardroom.”
