The purpose of this role is to manage and recruit a sales team of 2. Motivating them, setting team and individual sales targets.
The main focus of the role is to provide accurate reporting; create sales plans, bespoke proposals, activity reports, development/coaching. Ensure that revenue forecasts are achieved and exceeded through the sales of the team. Recruiting new sales people and performance management of the team.
The key accountabilities of this role include

Must have very strong interpersonal skills and be an excellent communicator

Ensure the team is driven and focused across all the events

Report to head of Sales and liaise with the Management team

Line manage the team and make sure all aspects of their roles are fulfilled

Accountable for delivering sales revenue within cost of sale targets

Working with event owner and governing body on specific sales plans

Training, coaching and mentoring the sales people
-
Providing lead sources and networking opportunities in conjunction with the marketing team

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to
-
Significant B2B sales experience with at least three years experience in a sales role within the Corporate Hospitality Industry.

The ideal candidate should have a thorough and systematic approach to managing data.

Be articulate, persistent, and persuasive and have strong closing skills.

Strong written and reporting skills.
-
Able to motivate, appraise and develop the team.
-
Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Office and Windows.

Accountable for the administration and archiving of contracted sales
-
Maintenance and update of ongoing sales progress i.e. status reports, monthly reports, year v year comparisons.

Accountable for managing entries team holidays, sick leave.
