Andy Murray could win Wimbledon or one of the other three grand slams in 2012, provided he changes his approach in a final, a legend of the sport has said.

Boris Becker told BBC Sport the Scot has all the skills required to win one of the top tournaments, but has been too defensive in his three finals so far - all of which ended in straight-sets defeats.

"The players who beat him had a more positive and aggressive attitude once they were in the final. If he does that, I think he will win a Grand Slam in 2012," Becker stated.

Fans enjoying hospitality packages at Wimbledon next summer will be keen to see if Murray can be the first Briton to win the men's tournament since Fred Perry in 1936.

Boris Becker himself never had such a losing start in grand slam finals to overcome.

He won at the first time of asking as an unseeded 17-year-old at Wimbledon in 1985.
