Andy Murray is on the shortlist For the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.

The Scot was one of ten candidates named by BBC Sports editors, after a year in which he reached at least the semi finals of all four grand slam tournaments and briefly took his ranking up to number three in the world above Roger Federer.

While Murray is sure to be in the top ten when the programme is screened from Salford next month, fans enjoying next summer's Aegon Championships at Queens Club will be hoping he finishes first again, having won the 2011 final.

Fans can enjoy hospitality packages watching Murray in action, alongside several other top male players in one of the final pre-Wimbledon grass court events, held from June 11th to 17th 2012.

Murray's victory at Queens this year was his second after lifting the title in 2009 - a triumph that saw him become the first British winner of the tournament since 1938.

That year was when Bunny Austin won ahead of becoming the most recent Wimbledon men's finalist from the UK.
