Brit Oval hospitality tickets news: Lions confirm Andrew Symonds signing

Cricket fans with Brit Oval hospitality tickets can look forward to seeing Andrew Symonds in action for Surrey Lions.

The county have confirmed the signing of the explosive all-rounder as their second overseas player to compete in the Friends Provident Twenty20 this season.

Symonds, who has impressed in a misfiring Deccan Chargers team during their current Indian Premier League campaign, will make his debut for the Lions in front of fans with Brit Oval hospitality tickets for the clash with Gloucestershire Gladiators on June 8th 2010.

This will be followed two days later by the arrival of Essex Eagles at the Brit Oval.

He has a proven pedigree in the shortest form of the game and still holds the record for the fastest century in domestic cricket, having reached three figures from just 34 balls while playing for Kent in 2004.

"I have always enjoyed playing in England and I am really looking forward to playing with the Surrey Lions," the Australian said.
