Cartier International Polo 'is one of our most important sporting events'

15/06/2010

People attending the Cartier International Polo next month are set to enjoy an event which is just made for sunny weather and hot temperatures.

According to high-end lifestyle publication Luxist, the annual polo tournament - which takes place at Windsor Great Park in Egham, Surrey, on July 25th 2010 - is one of England's "most important and stylish" sporting occasions.

While another of these important events - the first Test match of the cricket season at Lord's - has already passed, the news provider noted that there is still chance to catch the Cartier International Polo, which is "as much fun to watch as to participate in".

It went on to describe the competition as the "prestige event" of the polo season and noted that it also provides the perfect opportunity for a spot of celeb-spotting.

The Telegraph has previously urged people to get their hands on Cartier International Polo tickets as soon as possible, because they traditionally sell out about three weeks prior to the event.
