Chris Robshaw desperate for more international rugby, says Johnno

05/08/2010

Harlequins star Chris Robshaw is eager to force his way into the England side for future matches, such as the autumn internationals, according to national boss Martin Johnson.

The rugby legend said the next few months should be a positive time for Robshaw and he has shown that he could be capable of holding a back row place for the national side.

"Chris has done his case no harm. He did very well on tour, but so did other people in his position," Johnson was quoted by the Richmond and Twickenham Times as saying.

He added that the 24-year-old Quins captain was unlucky not to make the Elite Player Squad, but he has already had experience of playing in a Test match setting, which will set him up nicely to do well in the future.

Keith Prowse recently launched its new range of Six Nations tickets for the 2011 Six Nations series, offering packages for each of England's home encounters in Europe's premier international rugby tournament.
