Darren Clarke not sharing Ryder Cup secrets

10/09/2010

Darren Clarke is keeping his cards close to his chest regarding the European team's plans for their appearance in front of Ryder Cup packages customers.

With the clash against the US taking place between October 1st and 3rd 2010, vice captain Clarke partnered Francesco Molinari - who automatically qualified for the Ryder Cup - on the first day of the KLM Open in The Netherlands.

Reporters were keen to find out if the pair had been discussing the prospect of taking to the course in front of fans with Ryder Cup packages, but the Northern Irish star was less than forthcoming.

"We were just chatting away and I am not going to give away any secrets," he was quoted by the Belfast Telegraph as saying. "I've been doing this for too long to give away anything."

US captain Corey Pavin has been less cautious about his plans, revealing he could choose to team up Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson at Celtic Manor.
