Tennis fans may be inspired to book a corporate hospitality experience at Wimbledon 2010 to catch Andy Roddick in action after hearing about the latest accolade to be bestowed on the American.
The losing finalist in 2009, Roddick's performance against Roger Federer has been named the Times' top sporting moment of the year.
His "prolonged defiance" of the world number one was highlighted as being "great and glorious" by the news provider.
The newspaper said of Roddick: "There are times when the loser seems to walk away with more dignity than the winner, when mere victory seems rather vulgar in the face of the person who has given everything and lost."
Sports fans considering booking a corporate hospitality experience at the All England Club next year could take on board the words of its chief executive Ian Ritchie.
Discussing how such events can be part of the marketing mix, he told BBC News the SW19 tournament is considering changes to its offerings for Wimbledon 2010.
