Kaka could be one of the players to watch on a World Cup Tour

Football fans who book World Cup Tour tickets may be hoping Brazilian Kaka regains his fitness ahead of the summer 2010 tournament.

The Real Madrid star said he is hoping to overcome a groin problem to return to the field in January.

Kaka, who won World Player of the Year in 2007, has not played since being on the losing side in a match against Barcelona.

He said: "I am at a very advanced phase in the treatment. I don't know the exact date when I will play but I hope it will be when I return from Brazil."

The former AC Milan star may be hoping to join the likes of Manchester City attacker Robinho, Galatasaray's Elano and Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar on the plane to South Africa.

Brazil have been drawn in a group with Portugal, Ivory Coast and North Korea, which may make for some mouth-watering games for those booking World Cup Tour packages.
