Martin Johnson has said he is satisfied with the combination of youth and experience in the England team ahead of the Investec Internationals.
Speaking to Talksport's Full Contact show, the team manager noted that he is able to select a number of older heads, including Mike Tindall, Jonny Wilkinson, Nick Easter, Lewis Moody and Steve Thompson.
These veterans of the national side have been joined in recent times by the likes of Ben Youngs, Ben Foden and Chris Ashton, all of whom could be around for a "considerable amount of time", according to Johnson.
Furthermore, the World Cup winner said these youngsters have benefitted from defeating the Wallabies 21-20 in Australia this summer.
"Previously when any England team's won down there in the southern hemisphere they've done it with a very, very experienced team," he commented.
Last week, Johnson said it is essential his side hit the ground running in their first clash of the Investec Internationals, which comes against New Zealand on November 6th 2010.
