England v West Indies one-day international start time changed
16/12/2011
The England v West Indies one-day international at the Kia Oval on June 19th will now start in the morning, rather than being a day-night game, it has been confirmed.
Surrey County Cricket Club has revealed the change has been made from the original 13:00 BST time o 10:45 BST, so the match will have finished by the time the England football team kicks off its Euro 2012 game against the Ukraine.
It means fans enjoying corporate hospitality and the rest of the crowd will not be faced with the two fixtures clashing and can instead enjoy them both on what may be a great day of sport - particularly if England win both games.
On past occasions when England have been playing major football matches in summer tournaments, big screens have been provided at grounds so fans can choose which sport to see over those 90 minutes.
The West Indies last played at the Kia Oval in September, when they faced England in two T20 games, with the mini-series tied 1-1.
