Eoin Morgan retains Test match place

Eoin Morgan has been given the chance to safeguard his place in England's team to play in front of fans with Test match tickets.
The Ireland-born star has been included in the 12-man squad for the first England v Pakistan Test, which will get underway at Trent Bridge on Thursday (July 29th 2010).
He has had to fight off stiff competition from the likes of Ravi Bopara, who has been in a fine run of form with the bat of late and played a key role in the final match of the recent ODI series against Bangladesh.
Having been brought in to the side as a replacement for the injured Ian Bell, Bopara smashed 45 runs from 16 deliveries and also took four wickets for 38.
Despite this, national selector Geoff Miller revealed that Morgan has been given the nod to take on Pakistan in front of people with Test match tickets.
"Bopara has been playing really well but we want to see a bit more from Eoin," he remarked.
