Colin Montgomerie believes his European team are favourites to overcome the US in front of fans with Ryder Cup hospitality tickets
Monty's team will take on their rivals from across the Atlantic between October 1st and 3rd 2010 at Celtic Manor in Wales and the captain feels his side will have the edge over their opponents.

"There's no question that we go into the Ryder Cup as favourites and I'm just honoured to be their captain. It's very exciting times," he remarked.
His comments echo those of Northern Irish ace Graeme McDowell, who has previously said he thinks the Welsh course will be the ideal location for the European team to reclaim the trophy.
McDowell claimed their superiority off the tee will help to give them the edge over the US.
