Corporate hospitality news: Mobaasher 'to run at Cheltenham Festival'

Horseracing enthusiasts with Cheltenham Festival corporate hospitality tickets may be set to witness Mobaasher in action.

The horse managed to beat off competition from Giles Cross at the totepool Novices Chase, reversing the positions in which the two finished during their last meeting at Chepstow.

Mobaasher, who had been installed as pre-race favourite by bookmakers, managed to chase down his adversary on the home straight and raced to victory after out-jumping Giles Cross at the final fence.

Trainer Venetia Williams said that the horse is keener to chase than lead from the front.

Furthermore, Ms Williams suggested that Mobaasher could be set for an appearance in front of fans with Cheltenham Festival corporate hospitality tickets, which runs between March 16th and 19th 2010.

"I'm delighted with how he's jumped and he'll now be going to that place called Cheltenham, I'd imagine," she said.

Mobaasher finished third in the festival's JCB Triumph Hurdle back in 2007.
