England v Barbarians news: Mark Cueto happy with England's form
22/02/2010
Mark Cueto has told rugby fans with England v Barbarians tickets that he is happy with the side's form.
The Sale Sharks winger said that contrary to popular opinion, the Twickenham outfit are right on track following the opening two matches of their 6 Nations campaign.
Pundits and fans alike have been widely critical of Martin Johnson's side, which followed up an encouraging 30-17 opening day victory over fierce rivals Wales with a laboured 17-12 win over Italy in Rome.
But despite this, Cueto has expressed his satisfaction at England's current form and argued that the Italy clash has stood the side in good stead going forwards.
"In a funny sort of way it is almost better to have two games where we have had to grind out results," he said.
"There would be a danger of
[developing] a false sense of security of where we are as a team."
On May 30th 2010, rugby fans will find out if England are in strong enough form to overcome an all-star Barbarians line-up.
