Rugby hospitality news: Result comes first for Nick Easter
19/02/2010
Nick Easter has hinted to fans with Twickenham hospitality tickets for the England v Barbarians match that the side will be going all out for a win.
The England and Harlequins number eight admitted he was left frustrated with the manner in which Martin Johnson's side limped to a 17-12 victory over Italy on February 14th 2010, a match which frequently descended into a kicking contest.
"God, that was boring," he fumed after the match.
But despite his lack of enthusiasm for the England v Barbarians match to be played in the same manner, Easter has since said that he would rather see the side produce poor rugby and win than be expansive and come out second best.
"The result is the most important thing," he said. "We are in the business of winning."
Fans planning to book rugby hospitality tickets for the clash with the Baa-Baas should consider doing so soon, with the match taking place on May 30th 2010.
