Twenty20 tickets news: Graham Napier tops the bowlers chart

Cricket enthusiasts with Twenty20 tickets for the match between Surrey Brown Caps and Essex Eagles may be treated to a display from the world's best bowler in the shortest form of the game.

Essex all-rounder Graham Napier has claimed the accolade after playing for New Zealand state side Central Districts against Auckland, helping his team win the HRV Cup in the process.

His opening spell of pace bowling saw him go for only 17 runs, while he also managed to claim two dismissals, making him the leading wicket taker in world Twenty20.

To make matters sweeter, one of these was the prized scalp of his Eagles team-mate Ravi Bopara.

Napier expressed his delight at being recognised as the most lethal bowler in Twenty20, saying it is a "great feeling" to top the list.

"There are a lot of class cricketers around so I am pleased to have had so much success in this format," he added.

As well as his bowling prowess, the all-rounder is no slouch with the bat. He hit 152 from 58 deliveries in the Chelmsford outfit's clash with Sussex, the highest individual score in English Twenty20.
