Gap between Federer, Nadal and other players 'is really small'

Tomas Berdych has told prospective purchasers of tickets for Wimbledon tennis that the gap between Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and the closing pack is "really small".
Despite the fact that the world number one and three have won 25 of the last 30 Grand Slam events, the Czech star insisted other players can still compete.
Indeed, fans with tickets for Wimbledon tennis in 2010 saw Berdych demonstrate this by beating Federer in the quarter-final before losing to Nadal in the final.
The world number seven claimed the rest of the tennis world is attempting to chase down the top two as hard as they can, reports AFP.
"For me, it's a good time to be in this era that you can be competing against these two great players," he added.
Last week, Pete Sampras said Nadal has the ability to surpass Federer's all-time Major haul of 16, although he warned that the Spaniard's body would have to be able to "handle the pounding".
