Graeme McDowell keen to be 'integral' to Ryder Cup team

Graeme McDowell is looking forward to being a senior member of Colin Montgomerie's team during next month's clash with the US in front of Ryder Cup packages customers.
The Northern Irish golf ace admitted that his game has been a little rusty since winning the USPGA Championship in June 2010, but he is determined to be back to his best in time for the contest at Celtic Manor, which runs from October 1st to 3rd.
With Monty having named a number of youngsters in the squad to compete in front of people with Ryder Cup packages, McDowell said he wants to be an "integral part of the team."
"I'll be hoping to make a big impact and obviously play a lot of golf. We've got five rookies on the team so it's great to be one of the more experienced guys," he was quoted by ESPN as saying.
The Portrush star played four matches in the 2008 Ryder Cup, winning two, losing one and halving the other.
