Harry Ellis quits rugby after string of injuries

Harry Ellis will never get the chance to play in front of England fans with Twickenham tickets
The Leicester Tigers scrum-half has been forced to quit the game at the age of 28 following a succession of knee injuries over the past three years.
Despite stiff competition at the time from Matt Dawson and ex-Gloucester star Andy Gomarsall, Ellis made his international debut back in 2004 against South Africa and went on to represent his country on 26 more occasions.
In the process, he amassed 25 points for the national side.
England manager Martin Johnson, who has played alongside Ellis for both England and the Tigers, said injury may have been the only issue standing between the number nine making more appearances in matches watched by fans with Twickenham tickets
"I'm sure that if he'd been fit Harry would have continued to make a huge contribution to his club and country for many years to come," Johnson commented.
