Henley Festival corporate tickets news: Event 'will get people dancing'

12/05/2010

People with Henley Festival corporate tickets will be able to enjoy some dancing in the dark as four different bands take to the stage each night in Club Rendez-Vous after the main acts.

The festival, which runs from July 7th to July 11th 2010, will see performances from Will Young, Bryn Terfel and Nigel Kennedy. But once punters have watched the headliners, they will have the chance to dance all night to music provided by some other acts.

On the opening night, Club Rendez-Vous's late-night dancing will kick off with the Latin America sounds of Forro Porro. Thursday night's entertainment will come courtesy of the ska and urban tunes of Peyoti for President.

Kasai Masai, a five piece who bring sounds from the Congo will close the Friday night.

Finally, Club Rendez-Vous will round off the Henley Festival with a performance from the Jive Aces as they return to the festival with their 1950s rock and roll and jiving.

"Once the sun goes down, it is time get your dancing shoes," the Henley Standard commented.
