Henley Festival corporate tickets news: Thames Event offers 'unique karaoke'

20/05/2010

People with Henley Festival corporate tickets will be able to enjoy a spot of karaoke with a difference at this year's event.

Set to take place between July 7th and 11th, the 2010 festival has been given a singing theme, which means attendees with corporate tickets will be able to exercise their vocal chords in a variety of different ways.

A spokeswoman for the event told the Henley Standard that the 'Song Pod' will enable the more self-conscious to "karaoke away to your heart's content secure in the knowledge that you’ll only be heard by those inside with you".

Alternatively, people with Henley Festival corporate tickets who would rather have the singing done for them can "jump on a punt and be serenaded by opera singers on the Thames".

Those who are keen to enjoy the musical talents of some rather more famous names can instead watch on as Will Young, Bryn Terfel, Nigel Kennedy and Ronan Keating perform on the Floating Stage.
