Henley Festival prestige tickets news: Event is 'guaranteed to raise a smile'

Anyone with Henley Festival prestige tickets this year has been assured that they will leave the event with a smile on their face.
Stewart Collins, the five-day festival's artistic director, said one of his principle concerns in booking acts to appear at the event is whether or not they will make the audience laugh.
In a column for the Henley Standard, Mr Collins wrote: "I have always intended that anyone leaving the festival at the end of an evening does so with their smile lines reinforced and their sense of humour refreshed."
He said people with prestige tickets for the event, which runs from July 7th to 11th, should not be disappointed in this respect, thanks to the "bumper crop" of acts that will be appearing.
In particular, he said the Roving Eccentrica performers - which will include Granny Turismo, a shopping trolley display and dance team - are likely to raise a smile from anyone with Henley Regatta prestige tickets.
