Henley Regatta corporate tickets news: Event radio station to broadcast all year round?

Sales of Henley Regatta corporate tickets could be set to grow in the future after a community radio station which broadcasts during the event unveiled plans to run all year round.

The directors of Regatta Radio have said they are keen to be on the air for 52 weeks a year, rather than just the five days of the River Thames event.

Originally, the station considered covering other rowing competitions in the UK and around the world, but has settled on the concept of featuring a range of topics, including education, sport, commerce and local society.

"The ability of radio to reach into individual communities and add value ... could improve communication and understanding to the benefit of all involved," Adrian Smith, one of the directors, told the Henley Standard.

People with Henley Regatta corporate tickets do not have much longer to wait until the competition gets underway - it runs between June 30th and July 4th 2010.
