Henley Regatta prestige tickets news: New Zealanders to prepare for Henley in Slovenia

A team of rowers from New Zealand will prepare for their appearance in front of people with Henley Regatta prestige tickets at an event in Slovenia.

The Kiwi team will contest three world championship events in Europe this season rather than the traditional two in preparation for next year's world championships, reports the New Zealand Herald.

It revealed that the touring party will head to Lake Bled in Slovenia on May 21st 2010 for a regatta which commences the following week, before heading to Munich in mid-June.

The eight New Zealand rowers will then make the trip to the UK to compete in front of fans with Henley Regatta prestige tickets between June 30th and July 4th and will round off their international programme at Lucerne in early July.

Last month, Nick Pusinelli and Simon Manawaiti of Avondale's West End Rowing Club in New Zealand told the Aucklander they have set their sights on winning the Thames Challenge Cup at Henley Regatta.
