Ian Bell handed England ODI recall
20/09/2010
Cricket fans with Lords tickets for the fourth England v Pakistan ODI will have the chance to watch Ian Bell as he makes his return to the national side.
The middle-order batsman had missed out on selection for the series after breaking his foot in a 50-over clash against Bangladesh earlier this summer.
However, the Warwickshire star has won a recall for today's (September 20th 2010) match against Pakistan after guiding his county to victory in the CB40 final against Somerset on Saturday (September 18th).
He led from the front in the encounter, smashing 107 in a match which also took place in front of fans with Lords tickets.
Commenting after learning of his inclusion in the England squad, Bell remarked: "I'll just keep working as hard as I can to get in the side in one-day cricket as well as Test cricket."
Following today's match, the England v Pakistan ODI series will conclude on September 22nd at the Rose Bowl.
