Brit Oval corporate hospitality news: Kent sign Stuart Clark

06/01/2010

Stuart Clark is likely to be one of the stars people enjoying a corporate hospitality experience at the Brit Oval can see this summer.

The Australian fast bowler has agreed to join Kent as one of their overseas players for the first half of the 2010 season.

That should mean Clark lines up for the Spitfires when they travel to the Brit Oval to take on Surrey Brown Caps in the Friends Provident T20 on June 18th 2010.

Clark has taken 94 wickets in 24 Tests for Australia and claimed 13 victims in nine Twenty20 internationals.

Kent originally agreed a deal to sign him in 2009, but he was unable to link up with the county because he was recalled to the Australia squad for the Ashes.

Paul Farbrace, Kent's team director, is confident Clark will prove worth waiting for.

"He is an exceptional bowler and will offer a lot; both on and off the field," said Farbrace.

People booking a corporate hospitality experience for the Surrey v Kent match at the Brit Oval are also likely to see India leg spinner Piyush Chawla in action, after he agreed to join Surrey from Sussex.ADNFCR-2911-ID-19543504-ADNFCR
