Cheltenham Festival corporate hospitality ticketholders may fancy a flutter on Victoria's Groom after trainer Lucy Wadham revealed he will run in the Jewson Novices Handicap.
Victoria's Groom had a successful novices chase at the recent Fakenham meeting, beating strong competition including Five Dream and the odds-on favourite First Point.
In the aftermath of the meeting, Newmarket trainer Wadham said she would "definitely" be entering Victoria's Groom in the Cheltenham race.
She told Raceodds.com that the horse has managed to stay injury-free over the last season, which has been of great benefit to his performances on the track.
"Last season was his first without any problems and he had a good year over hurdles and he's carried that on," she said.
Racing enthusiasts with Cheltenham Festival corporate hospitality tickets also learned recently that jockey Tony McCoy is keen to compete in the Gold Cup on Denman.
However, the two-time winner of the event said he has yet to be approached for the position.
