Cricket hospitality news: Younis Khan named in Pakistan ODI squad

14/01/2010

Cricket fans with Lord's hospitality tickets for England's test series with Pakistan may see the return of Younis Khan.

The former Pakistan captain has been taking time out of the game since November 2009 after claiming that he had lost control of the team, having previously resigned from the national Twenty20 side.

However, Khan has been included in the One Day International (ODI) squad to take on Australia in the two sides' current series down under, which will kick off at the Gabba on January 22nd, Cricinfo.com reported.

Although Khan has been short of runs on his spell out of the national side, a successful ODI series could see him recalled to the test squad for the England tour.

Despite his selection, Mohammad Yousuf will continue to captain the side, with Shahid Afridi as his second in command.

Meanwhile, Australia announced that pace bowler Mitchell Johnson will be rested from the first two matches of the five-game ODI series.ADNFCR-2911-ID-19557584-ADNFCR
