Lord's corporate hospitality news: Asif the man to watch

04/01/2010

Mohammad Asif could be one of the men to watch as part of a corporate hospitality experience at Lord's in 2010.

The home of cricket is set to play host to Pakistan on three occasions this summer - a Test and a one-day international against England, together with a Test against Australia.

Pakistan are currently playing a Test series in Australia ahead of their busy summer schedule in England, and Asif has impressed fans with his form.

In the second Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground, the paceman took 6-41 as the hosts were bowled out for just 127 in their first innings.

His performance perhaps marked him out as the team's dangerman, but he is not the only Pakistan player that people enjoying a corporate hospitality experience at Lord's this summer should watch out for.

BBC Sport's Oliver Brett has picked out Umar Akmal as one of the game's rising stars. The teenage batsman has only played in four Tests, but already has a century and four 50s to his name.ADNFCR-2911-ID-19537923-ADNFCR
