Lord's corporate hospitality news: Australia edge home against Pakistan
06/01/2010
People planning a corporate hospitality experience at Lord's this summer may be hoping to see a repeat of Australia's thrilling victory in the second Test against Pakistan.
Australia and Pakistan are due to meet for a two Test series on neutral territory in England this summer, with the first five-day match scheduled to start at Lord's on July 13th 2010.
The same two teams are currently facing each other in Australia and the hosts wrapped up a series victory by securing an unlikely 36-run win in the second Test at Perth.
They looked to be facing certain defeat after Pakistan established a first innings lead of 206, but 134 from Michael Hussey and 97 from Shane Watson helped them to reach 381 in their second innings.
Pakistan, who had enjoyed superb bowling performances from Mohammad Asif and Danish Kaneria, still looked likely to win and level the series.
However, the tourists were skittled out for just 139, thanks largely to a five-wicket haul from Nathan Hauritz, the Australian spinner.
Those intending to enjoy a corporate hospitality experience at Lord's this summer will have two chances to see Hauritz and his team-mates in action - the Test against Pakistan and the one-day international against England on July 3rd 2010.
