Rugby hospitality news: England may pick 'attacking Six Nations squad'
12/01/2010
Six Nations rugby hospitality ticketholders could be treated to some attacking displays from England, it has been suggested.
Many critics have knocked England coach Martin Johnson for the team's negative performances in the November internationals against Argentina, Australia and New Zealand.
Consequently, Rugby World speculated that those with Six Nations rugby hospitality tickets for the England v Wales clash at Twickenham may witness the dawn of a new, more flowing era for Johnson's side.
It pointed out that new attack coach Brian Smith is "one of the best men in the business to implement a new creative approach".
Furthermore, the news provider speculated that the likes of centres Shontayne Hape and Dominic Waldouck could be given the nod in the January 13th 2010 selection of the Elite Playing Squad (EPS).
The squad will be without a number of injured stars such as Phil Vickery, who has been told by his specialist that he will miss the entire Six Nations tournament while he rests his neck, having had surgery on it towards the end of last year.
