Twickenham corporate hospitality news: Simon Shaw doubtful for Six Nations

11/01/2010

Rugby fans planning a Six Nations corporate hospitality experience at Twickenham may be interested to see who replaces Simon Shaw in the England line-up.

The veteran lock damaged both his wrist and his knee on duty for club side Wasps, in a game which saw the London side drubbed 34-8 by Leicester Tigers at Welford Road.

Shaw was even more unlucky given that the clash between the two sides was the only Guinness Premiership game which went ahead last weekend due to the freezing conditions across the UK.

Wasps' director of rugby Tony Hanks refused to speculate on how long the England forward could be on the sidelines for.

"I'm not going to try and second guess the results of Simon's scan," he told the London Evening Standard. "I thought scrum-half Joe Simpson would be out for a month and it turned out to be up to 12 weeks."

Corporate hospitality experience at Twickenham customers also recently learned that another Wasps favourite, Phil Vickery, will miss the whole of the Six Nations.ADNFCR-2911-ID-19549934-ADNFCR
