Twickenham hospitality news: Scan reveals more bad news for Tom Croft
20/01/2010
Tom Croft may miss out on the chance to perform in front of rugby enthusiasts with Twickenham hospitality tickets for the 6 Nations.
The Leicester and England flanker was helped off the field during last weekend's clash with a physical Viadana side in the Heineken Cup.
It was originally feared that Twickenham hospitality ticketholders would miss out on the chance to watch Croft in action at the opening match of the international tournament against Wales on February 6th.
However, a scan on his injured knee has revealed that the back row forward will also miss the February 14th trip to Italy and is in doubt for the England v Ireland match two weeks later.
A statement from the RFU read: "He has now started his rehabilitation programme with a view to returning to action in five to six weeks."
Wales scrum half Dwayne Peel has also been rules out of the opening 6 Nations match after injuring his groin playing for Sale against Cardiff Blues.
