World Cup tours news: Fabio Capello 'is unsure of his best keeper'

England football fans are likely to see a battle for the national team's goalkeeping position ahead of the forthcoming World Cup, Gordon Banks has said.
The 1966 World Cup winner said that coach Fabio Capello is still unsure of his first choice for the number one jersey, despite the tournament being a matter of months away.
Capello has favoured West Ham stopper Robert Green since taking over the position of national coach from previous incumbent Steve McClaren, although he also has the likes of Joe Hart, Ben Foster, Paul Robinson and the currently injured David James to pick from.
"All of them seem to be in and out of form," said Banks. "If I was in the manager's boots I would make sure I got someone looking at all the ones I was thinking about week in, week out."
Banks made a total of eight appearances on World Cup tours for England, with his last match in the competition coming against Czechoslovakia in 1970.
